Geek Meet in Stockholm

I spoke at Geek Meet in Stockholm last night. The slides are now up on Slideshare:

  • Web Typography and sIFR 3 is about the current state of web typography, and a quick run through sIFR 3
  • Homemade Ubicomp is about ubiquitous computing you can do in your kitchen, with examples from PICNIC and the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design.

I had a great time, thanks to Robert Nyman and bwin for organizing.

    Hello,

    Just wanted to tell you sIFR is great !!!
    But there is a bug with safari and voice over : Voice over won’t read replace text because the height, width of the replaced text is 0. For voice over this means the text is not displayed, so it won’t read it !!!! The solution is to change the style of sIFR-alternate to :

    .sIFR-alternate { width: 1px; height: 1px; }

    or

    .sIFR-alternate { border: 1px solid bgcolor; }

    Then voice over will read it.

    Hopes this helps,

    Kind regards.
